## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and AttentionDeficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and will be committed to creating an inclusive and empowering learning experience for all.
## Responsibilities
Provide oneonone support to students with ASD and/or ADHD ensuring their individual needs are met in the classroom setting
Collaborate with teachers to implement personalized learning plans and behavior management strategies for students with SEN
Create a safe and supportive environment for students promoting social and emotional wellbeing
Assist in the development of educational materials and resources tailored to the specific needs of students with ASD and/or ADHD
Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals involved in the students care to ensure a holistic approach to their education and wellbeing
## Qualifications
Previous experience working with individuals with ASD and/or ADHD is essential
Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents
Relevant certifications or training in the field of Special Educational Needs is desirable
## Daytoday
Provide individualized support to students during lessons ensuring they are able to engage and participate fully
Collaborate with teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life
Monitor and record student progress and contribute to the review and development of their individual support plans
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere promoting respect and understanding among all students
Engage in professional development opportunities to further enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN
