JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
We are searching for motivated midtosenior level Computer Science and Software Engineers to join our Communications and Signal Processing Division team of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University. This is a software engineering position focusing on the ability to perform algorithm implementation and integration to support a variety of research processes and applications. This position demands rigorous characteristics from the applying individual; ARL fosters some of the greatest minds that the Department of Defense has to offer and provides opportunities for career growth.
The mission of ARLs Communications and Signal Processing Division of the Communications Information and Navigation Office (CINO) is to provide innovative solutions to challenging national problems in sea land air space and cyber domains through basic and applied research rapid prototyping as well as demonstration and fielding of technologies. CINO focuses on developing the most advanced technologies and on providing expert knowledge for our Navy Army and other U.S. government sponsors.
This position will be filled at the advanced or senior professional level depending on your education and work experience. Minimally requires a Bachelors degree in an engineering or science discipline and five years related experience for the advanced professional level. Additional education and/or work experience is required for higher levels.

While Work From Home (WFH) opportunities are available based on specific project requirements most work is performed in our onsite laboratories in State College PA Reston VA or Annapolis Junction MD .
