A reputable healthcare system that borders beautiful Lake Ontario is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families work collaboratively with other healthcare staff and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to residents within the facility.
- Administer medications to patients as directed.
- Observe evaluate and document changes in residents physical and mental status.
- Complete all required documentation and maintain records.
- Educate residents and families as directed by the RN.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
- Active LPN License.
- 6 months of LPN experience is preferred.
Additional info:
- Fulltime permanent position
- Schedule: 5x8 6a2p or 2p10p
- Pay: $24.7529.50/hr. depending on experience differentials.
- $7000 signon bonus!
