Primary Objective:
Safely monitors and produces a quality product to documented standards in the quantities specified by the production schedule.
Major Function and Scope:
Complies with all company safety rules and procedures
Monitors product and process to ensure quality of product to documented procedures
Makes required adjustments to maintain quality of product
Records and reports production numbers including disruptions and rejects
Loads unloads and moves material using forklift
Coordinates and executes to published schedule
Changes and adjusts tooling as required
Maintains quality and the quantity of the output of the production line during course of shift
Performs required preventive maintenance
Attend any jobrelated training deemed necessary by supervision
Follow all established standard operating procedures
Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
Perform other tasks assigned by management
Type of Experience and Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 years of manufacturing experience in a fast paced work environment
1 years of experience with automated machines
1 years of experience adjusting machine to produce quality product
Forklift experience or willingness to learn to operate forklift
Basic computer skills
Basic math/reading skills
Good mechanical aptitude
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Physical Requirements / Other Pertinent Job Information:
This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be regular exposure to chemicals noise from machinery dust fumes and variable temperatures.
Other working conditions may include working long hours and flexible shifts including holidays
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; bending squatting climbing ladders and stairs are required
