Position Overview

As the Communications & Development Specialist you will be at the forefront of supporting Weemarkable application instances across Canada. Youll manage customer and user support inquiries collaborate with app developers to troubleshoot issues and help enhance digital capabilities.

Youll also play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive user experience for child care administrators and caregiver users assist in developing learning tools to support app adoption and driving user engagement in the child care sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a selfstarter and techsavvy communicator to drive positive change with the YMCA of HamiltonBurlingtonBrantford.

What Youll do:

  • Manage and triage customer/user support inquiries and provide timely resolutions to common user issues.
  • Collaborate with the app developer to enhance app functionality and user experience.
  • Support app iterations and updates across Canada ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Liaise with the YMCA HBB and industry leaders to gather feedback and insights on app performance and user needs.
  • Escalate customer support issues with the app developer as needed for resolution.
  • Monitor app performance metrics and gather user feedback to inform enhancements.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials and content to support app adoption training and user engagement.
  • Provide support to developing/updating training and support tools for users on app features and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and strategies for app users.
  • Work in a teambased environment to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
  • Assist in coordinating promotional activities to raise awareness and drive user acquisition.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Information Technology Marketing or a related field.

  • Experience in customer support technical support data entry marketing or communications roles.

  • Experience with mobile applications software development processes and digital marketing tools.

  • Strong communication interpersonal customer service and creative skills.

  • Ability to collaborate in a teambased environment and contribute to crossfunctional projects.

  • Excellent organizational initiative planning and administrative skills with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities.
