About the Role: Automation Technician I should excel in either Mechanical or Electrical assembly. The Lead Automation Technician will verify qualifications. Growth into the other disciplines will be expected and documented in a training matrix.
Responsibilities:
Ability to utilize and understand engineering drawings building wiring and qualifying subassemblies main assemblies and final machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical pneumatic or electrical problems as they may arise.
Proactively and communicate with other departments for solutions.
Ability to set up final systems in accordance with internal quality acceptance measures.
Ability to set up final systems in accordance with quality acceptance measures set by customer.
Ensure the final product is meets specifications.
Requirements:
Two years of manufacturing experience in a related field preferred.
Bachelors degree in engineering or a technical degree in automation preferred.
Experience in A.C. D.C. and threephase wiring.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings electrical schematics and pneumatic schematics.
Conceptual knowledge of pneumatics and servodrive motors.
Experience as a commercial electrician or machine/automation maintenance technician is preferred.
Ability to travel 25 of the time travel can be one to three weeks per trip. (Required)
Willing to train the right candidate with minimal experience and certifications for an apprentice role.
Working daily onsite at Muller Technology CO Inc. with expectation of no less than 40 hours worked weekly.
