We are looking for a passionate and detailoriented QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Core Java Selenium or any UI automation tool and BDD frameworks like Cucumber. The ideal candidate should also have a solid understanding of basic SQL (including joins) and be comfortable using GIT for version control.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium Java and Cucumber.
Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements and use cases.
Build robust and scalable test automation solutions to support application development and deployments.
Perform root cause analysis for failed test cases and provide relevant feedback to the development team.
Execute basic SQL queries including joins to validate data and support backend testing.
Collaborate in an Agile environment to ensure quality is built into the product from the ground up.
Manage and track test scripts and code changes using GIT.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Skills:
Strong programming skills in Core Java.
Handson experience with Selenium WebDriver or any other UI automation tool.
Good understanding and working knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber.
Proficiency in writing basic SQL queries especially joins.
Familiarity with GIT for version control and collaboration.
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins is a plus.
Familiarity with testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured is a bonus.
