We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team in the Outpatient Pulmonology department. As a leading healthcare organization North Star is committed to delivering cuttingedge patient care while advancing medical knowledge through innovative research and continuous learning.
In this role you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration and the highest levels of clinical expertise. Your contributions will directly impact the health and wellbeing of patients with pulmonary conditions offering you the chance to grow professionally and make a tangible difference in the community.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide highquality compassionate care to patients within the Outpatient Pulmonology department.
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other specialists to develop and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
Utilize your advanced clinical skills to assess diagnose and manage a variety of pulmonary conditions such as asthma COPD and interstitial lung diseases.
Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team to ensure thorough understanding of care plans treatments and disease management.
Stay informed on the latest Pulmonology research and integrate evidencebased practices into daily care delivery.
Maintain accurate uptodate documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Educate patients and families on preventative measures disease management and available treatment options to empower informed decisionmaking.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and share ideas to enhance care delivery and patient outcomes.
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development by attending relevant trainings conferences and workshops.
Uphold ethical standards and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Contribute to a positive teambased work culture by mentoring colleagues and actively participating in team meetings.
Follow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff alike.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a strong background in Pulmonology and experience managing complex pulmonary conditions.
Possess excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients families and the healthcare team.
Be passionate about delivering compassionate patientcentered care.
Be committed to staying current with the latest advancements in Pulmonology and applying new knowledge to benefit patients.

Pay: $127000.00 $144000.00 per year with adjustments based on experience plus an additional WRVUbased incentive bonus.
