What youll be working on:

• Lead the tendering process for mechanical construction projects ensuring accuracy and completeness of all submissions.

• Analyze project specifications drawings and other documents to determine project scope requirements and risks.

• Accurately interpret and comprehend tender drawings and specifications for all mechanical projects up to $1 Billion.

• Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and formulate detailed cost estimates using industrystandard methodologies.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project plans schedules and budgets.

• Evaluate potential scope changes additional costs and claims situations providing accurate cost assessments and recommendations.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.

• Present project proposals cost estimates and recommendations to internal teams clients and other stakeholders.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients subcontractors and vendors ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Foster a collaborative and highperformance work environment encouraging teamwork innovation and continuous improvement.

• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental standards procedures and best practices.

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical coordinators providing guidance support and professional development opportunities.

• Understand and adhere to the companys safety management system policies procedures and values.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 23 years of experience in mechanical construction estimating and project management.

• Strong understanding of mechanical construction processes materials and methods.

• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g. HCSS Sage Estimating) and MS Office suite is an asset.

• Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients subcontractors and team members.

• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading and developing highperforming teams.

• Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and deliver accurate and reliable results.

• Bilingual (English & French) is an asset.
