Job Summary: This is a parttime Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Natural Sciences.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level.
Preferred candidates for the position must hold a Masters degree or a Ph.D. degree in a biological science. While all areas are considered desired areas include anatomy and physiology microbiology and plant biology.
Required Skills/Abilities: Familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas Blackboard etc.
Education and Experience:
- Applicants should have a Masters degree or a PhD in a biological science.
- Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
- The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune Cookman University.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
