The department of Physical Therapy is accepting applications for a parttime Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor. This parttime faculty position in the Department of Physical Therapy will assist with the delivery of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) curriculum and provide service to the Department School and University via clinical practice clinical mentorship and other service responsibilities designated by the Chair.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Earned DPT degree or masters/bachelors PT degree in combination with an academic doctorate in a related field (required)
- Terminal academic doctorate (preferred)
Experience and Training
- Current physical therapy license and/or eligible for licensure in the state of North Carolina (required)
- Experience teaching in higher education (preferred)
- Experience teaching in DPT education (preferred)
- History of scholarship and active research agenda (preferred)
- ABPTS Board certification (preferred)
- Other professional certifications (preferred)
Knowledge Skills Ability:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (required)
- Values teamwork collaboration selfawareness and humility (required)
