A PostDoctoral Fellow position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Lieberman at The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia PA. Research in the Lieberman laboratory centers on understanding how cancerassociated viruses persist in a latent state and increase the risk of cancer and autoimmune disorders. The lab focuses on two human tumor viruses EpsteinBarr virus (EBV) and Kaposis Sarcoma Associated Herpesvirus (KSHV) and how they persist in a latent state and drive carcinogenesis or autoimmunity https://wistar/ourscientists/paullieberman).
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree or should be close to obtaining their doctoral degree. Highly motivated candidates with experience in virology molecular biology cell biology or functional genomics are encouraged to apply.
