Description

Clean Harbors located in Burton MI is looking to add a Facility Technician II to their team. As a Facility Technician II you will be responsible for performing handson operations including unloading railcars and completing paperwork for waste tracking/inventory purposes. This position will also handle some building/ground and equipment maintenance. We are looking for safetyoriented and reliable individuals who do not mind physically intensive work to join our team in Burton MI.

Schedule: MonFri; day shift 8:00am4:30pm OT and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

Performs hands on operations such as pumping and offloading railcars;

Operates a forklift/equipment as needed;

Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements able to use scanning application for dumping and pumping;

Reviews all applicable SOPs and satisfactorily completes quizzes;

Meets or exceeds production goals;

Must maintain a clean work environment;

Performs general warehouse duties housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks as needed;

Building/grounds/equipment maintenance as needed;

Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.



Qualifications

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required;

1 years of previous experience working in a warehouse or another industrial work environment preferred;

Mechanical aptitude is a plus;

Forklift/equipment experience preferred;

Ability to work under adverse work conditions heat & cold preferred;

Ability to work in a team environment;

Accountability and punctuality required.
