Position Summary: The position of Field Engineer will work closely with all members of the management and health and safety team. This position includes quality control surveying KPI tracking and other responsibilities related to the proper and timely of ENTACT projects. Must be selfmotivated to meet deadlines communicate effectively in a teamwork setting and be able to adapt role/responsibilities in a fastpaced everchanging environment. Associates must be open to periods of sustained projectbased travel. Must have a valid drivers license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements. - Heat extremes when wearing certain types of PPE. Wear Level C and D PPE including cotton Tyvek chemical protective coveralls eye and face protection hand protection etc. Potential for Level A and B PPE exists.
- Working on elevations such as scaffolding bridges buildings etc.
- Expected to lift objects weighing 1 to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and may be required to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Donning of varying types of personal protective equipment (PPE) as project requirements and conditions warrant. Minimum PPE includes steel toe safety boots hard hat safety glasses ear plugs and reflective safety vest.
- Working in loud or noisy environments.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job include: - Outside construction site onsite office space.
- The terrain is rugged and may be difficult to navigate.
- Dusty and windy atmospheres.
- Confined spaces.
- Hot Environments.
- Noisy work environments.
- Contaminated atmospheres (i.e. fumes vapor lead dust H2S etc..
Personal Protective Equipment: - Different types of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be worn including but not limited to hard hat hearing protection such as ear plugs or muffs eye protection such as safety glasses goggles face shield etc. welders helmet safety vest various types of gloves including leather Nitrile latex etc. steel toe boots and various respiratory protection such as dust masks half face and full face respirators SCBAs APRs etc. may be required depending on site conditions. Protective coveralls include cotton Tyvek fire ant chemical protective etc.
