Salary Range: $70158 $85737 (based on 40 hours per week)

Position Description
The Team Lead IT Projects is responsible for oversight and daytoday management of the Universitys enterprisewide information technology projects. These projects include the implementation of a new admissions system and in future years the refresh of the Universitys existing enterprise systems. The Team Lead IT Projects is a key contributor to the implementation of the Universitys Digital Strategy. This position will report directly to the Manager MIS and Project Management
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of project management for assigned University IT projects.
- Work with managers and IT staff to support business analysis process for IT projects including project charters plans schedules and status reports.
- Prepare and facilitate communication plans project change requests user guides etc.
- Provides updates to team members and project stakeholders.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques.
- Support the Manager in providing leadership to employees in a manner consistent with university policies practices and applicable Collective Agreements.
- Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance and service delivery.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in related field (Computer Science Business Information Systems) or a related field.
- 57 years progressive proven experience in project management.
- Strong work ethic and proven success working in a team environment.
- Selfstarter able to work independently as required.
- Experience in a university environment is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
