Job Title: Manager (Design) VLSI and Embedded Systems

Location: Bangalore
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a VLSI and Embedded Systems team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of handson experience in analog digital and mixed electronics with proficiency in FPGA based designs VHDL and C programming. A background in designing and realizing electronic systems for airborne applications is essential. As a graduate engineer you will lead a dynamic team driving innovation and ensuring the successful of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management
oLead and manage a VLSI and Embedded Systems team providing technical guidance and support.
oOversee project planning and delivery ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
oFoster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Technical Expertise
oUtilize extensive experience in analog digital and mixed electronics to design and develop advanced electronic systems.
oApply VHDL and C programming skills in the design simulation and verification of complex systems.
oEnsure the design and realization of electronics systems meet the rigorous requirements of airborne applications.
oGuiding the PCB CAD team in PCB Design especially in component placement and routing.
oGuiding the MECH CAD team in design of housings / enclosures.
oExperience in power electronics and engine control is desirable.
Project Management
oCoordinate with crossfunctional teams including hardware software purchase production customer and quality assurance to ensure seamless project integration.
oManage project budgets timelines and resources effectively.
oConduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior management.
oProficiency with Design Analysis SI PI Power Budget Thermal Structural Derating Reliability FMEA FMECA etc.
oPreparation of documents complying with the requirements of CEMILAC for airworthiness including design documents analysis reports ATP QTP V&V and other documents as per DO254 and DO178.
Quality and Compliance
oEnsure all designs and developments comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements particularly for airborne applications.
oKnowledge and experience with DO254 DO178 MILSTD461 MILSTD810 MILSTD704 JSS55555 etc is essential.
oExperience with qualifying the product for airworthiness as prescribed by CEMILAC.
oImplement best practices in design testing and validation to achieve high reliability and performance.
Continuous Improvement
oStay abreast of the latest advancements in VLSI and embedded systems technology.
oIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
oMentor and develop team members fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications
oBachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or a related field.
o8 to 12 years of experience in analog digital and mixed electronics design and development.
oProficiency in VHDL and C programming.
oProven experience in the design and realization of electronic systems for airborne applications.
oStrong leadership and project management skills.
oExcellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
oEffective communication and interpersonal skills.
oAbility to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
oExperience with FPGA design and development.
oFamiliarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for airborne systems.
