Job Description

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with one of the leading HVAC service providers in the Denver area. Our client has provided technical HVAC services for their commercial industry markets for over 50 years. They are in search of a new Service Technician to join their team in Colorado Springs.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Our client is in need of an experienced HVAC technician to perform preventative maintenance and repair work. This role requires the technician to troubleshoot maintain repair and install commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment. Additionally the technician will oversee the daily coordination of assigned projects or contracts to ensure all commitments are fulfilled in a timely and costeffective manner.

Hourly Rate $40$48 Per Hour

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with troubleshooting HVAC Systems including Air Handling Units Controls Chillers and Boiler

  • Has there EPA certification

  • 5 years of experience with HVAC Systems in a commercial setting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following outlines the core responsibilities skills and qualifications required for the Service Technician role. To succeed in this position the individual must be capable of performing each essential duty to a high standard. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed:

Service :

Professionally manage a high volume of service requests and calls.
Efficiently follow troubleshooting guidelines to quickly identify issues.

Regularly check the operation of systems and safety controls to ensure they meet standards before leaving the job site.

Accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.
Submit daily service reports ensuring customer signatures are obtained as required.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate effectively with customers of varying technical expertise explaining issues and solutions clearly. If a repair cannot be completed provide a thorough explanation and suggest appropriate next steps.

Address all customer inquiries and concerns before concluding the service visit.

Politely offer recommendations when system issues are caused by customer actions or misuse.

Coordinate arrival and departure times with clients to ensure smooth operations.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with team members sharing knowledge and assisting in the resolution of customer issues.

Keep managers and supervisors updated on project status customer feedback or any changes.

Operational Management:

Prioritize daily tasks based on the service schedule handling unexpected interruptions ensuring tools and materials are available and scheduling vehicle maintenance.

Pursue continuous professional development by joining industryrelated memberships and organizations.

Maintain uptodate knowledge on HVAC systems and best practices by reading manuals and other resources.
