Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager / Internet Manager

Location:Beach Chevrolet Little River SC

We pride ourselves on providing a superior customer experience and are seeking a dynamic resultsdriven individual to join our team as aBusiness Development Manager. This is a key role in our organization responsible for driving the success of our online presence and managing our Business Development team.

Position Overview:The Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of our dealerships website digital platforms and business development initiatives. This includes managing inbound sales opportunities responding to internet leads optimizing customer engagement and leading a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You will work closely with sales marketing and other departments to ensure that all digital communication is optimized and aligned with our dealerships goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage BDR Team:Supervise and support a team of Business Development Representatives ensuring that they effectively respond to inbound leads from phone email and internet inquiries.
  • Optimize Website & Digital Tools:Manage and enhance the dealerships website CRM systems and other software applications to improve lead generation customer interactions and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and Respond to Inbound Leads:Manage the dealerships inbound sales opportunities through various channels (website email chat etc. ensuring timely and professional followups.
  • Customer Engagement & Retention:Develop strategies to engage customers throughout their buying journey ensuring positive interactions and a smooth transition from lead to sale.
  • Performance Reporting & Analytics:Track and analyze key metrics related to website traffic lead conversion rates and team performance to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Collaboration Across Teams:Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align digital marketing campaigns with sales initiatives and customer outreach efforts.
  • Training & Development:Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the Business Development team to ensure they stay current on best practices tools and technologies.

  • Leadership & Team Management:You should have a proven track record of managing and motivating a team to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • TechSavvy:Comfort with modern digital tools and technologies (CRM systems social media website management etc. is essential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills:The ability to communicate clearly professionally and effectively both written and verbally with customers and team members.
  • Problem Solver:You should be proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement offering solutions to enhance performance.
  • DetailOriented & Organized:Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay on top of various tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Adaptable & Eager to Learn:The digital landscape is always evolving so a willingness to stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Business Development or Internet Manager role preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Proficient in using website management tools CRMs and other digital software applications.
  • Experience with lead generation customer relationship management and online marketing.
  • Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
