POSITION SUMMARY
Visual Managers (VMs) lead the effort to exceed expectations provide an exceptional customer experience and display passion for our brand. They work closely with District Sales Managers and store teams to create a consistent and branded instore experience that delivers top line sales results. VMs collaborate with their market store teams to execute visual directives and with the corporate visual team to influence in all Calvin Klein North America stores.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Experience
Works with the District Sales Manager / Store Managers to execute and uphold seasonal merchandising strategies reviews seasonal floorplans shops and fixtures; maps POS changes and first marks; identifies new receipts and recommends placement; remerchandises due to sellthrough and new arrivals; assists in mapping complex stores.
Analyzes top / slow selling items; partners with the District Sales Manager / Store Managers to make store based merchandising decisions that align with seasonal strategies and brand standards and drive sales.
Prioritizes delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the store and always places our customer first; maintains awareness of competition and market conditions.
Champions new product launches and educates the store team on new product and promotions.
Collaborates with the District Sales Manager to identify needs submits weekly feedback on merchandise and competition; educates store teams to achieve and maintain visual presentation standards.
Commitment to Efficiency
Oversees the efficient and effective of all visual directives including seasonal floorsets windows mannequins instore displays and product moves.
Partners with store teams to ensure sales floor and window promotional and marketing signage is up to date and accurate.
Updates floorplans and ensures all visual components graphics tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
Evaluates sellthrough and onhand inventory; communicates insights to store teams and provides replenishment strategy recommendations.
Participate in store renovations and new store openings.
Associate Morale
Motivates and inspires associates to achieve sales goals and uphold brand standards; models expectations recognizes outstanding performance and assists in the coaching and development of associates.
Demonstrates a sense of pride commitment and passion for the brand and our customers; treats customers and store team professionally courteously and respectfully.
Celebrates and embraces individuality inclusion and partnership; builds relationships and seeks out feedback for continuous selfdevelopment.
Champions innovation and change supports company initiatives and reinforces a continuous improvement environment.
Meetings Travel
Hosts meetings regularly with store teams within their assigned markets.
Conducts visual store visits (inperson and virtually).
Joins District Sales Manager/ Zone Vice President on local store visits.
Attend district calls to answer visual questions and aid in training.
Escalates concerns and opportunities to District Sales Manager weekly.
Corporate Visual Team Partnership
Attends monthly meetings and cascades visual/training content to market.
Identifies and escalates training/flexing needs for further clarification and training.
Submits pictures with flexing options and assists with the content creation of visual directives.
Partners with marketing team on global needs/callouts.
Identifies market specific competitive window and merchandising techniques; provides comp shop images.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of retail store management experience required.
1 2 years of visual merchandising experience required.
Bachelors/Associate degree preferred; high school diploma/ equivalent required.
Ability to travel up to 20 of the time.
Flexible schedule required including nights weekends and overnight shifts.
Excellent communication and time management skills; ability to present final ideas to executives.
Ability to walk stand bend reach and squat for prolonged periods and carry up to 20 pounds.
