We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee complex engineering projects in our organization. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of coordination for crossfunctional teams ensuring that engineering programs are executed on time within scope and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Lead the planning and delivery of engineering programs from concept to completion.
- Define program goals deliverables timelines and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Establish program milestones and manage dependencies across projects and teams.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Coordinate and align with internal teams including product development manufacturing quality and supply chain to ensure program objectives are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to communicate progress risks and program updates.
- Risk Management and ProblemSolving:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges that may arise during program .
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage program budgets ensuring efficient use of resources while meeting financial targets.
- Work with leadership to allocate personnel and technical resources effectively across projects.
- Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and improve program management methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices tools and templates to optimize engineering workflows.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior program managers or project leads within the engineering department.
- Foster a culture of accountability innovation and continuous improvement.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Develop and deliver regular reports on program performance including status updates metrics and risk assessments.
- Utilize datadriven insights to recommend adjustments or improvements to ongoing programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Experience:
- 7 years of program or project management experience in an engineering or technical environment.
- Experience managing largescale complex projects in industries such as energy manufacturing or technology.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira Smartsheet).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles systems and product development cycles.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum or other project management frameworks.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities under pressure.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP PgMP or similar project management certification.
- Experience in the energy storage or renewable energy sector.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
Working Conditions:
- Fulltime onsite/hybrid/remote (specify as applicable).
- May involve occasional travel to manufacturing sites suppliers or project locations.
