To provide physical or corrective treatment of any musculoskeletal skin or neurological condition by use of physical chemical heat light water sound massage and active passive and resistive exercise and shall include physical therapy evaluation treatment planning and modification instruction and consultative services.Job Requirements Prerequisites and Essential Functions:
EDUCATION B.A. or B.S. degree with completion of course work in a school or schools approved by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee so as to qualify for licensure by the State of California Department of Consumer AffairsEXPERIENCE One year as a licensed Physical Therapist in acute care hospital setting or equivalent preferred. A new graduate is acceptable unless a specific number of years experience is required at the time of hire due to the needs of the departmentLICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONSPhysical Therapist Required at hireBasic Life Support Required at hireIntegrative Agitation Management (IAM) Required within 30 days of hirePREREQUISITE SKILLS 1. Evaluation accurate assessment design of appropriate treatment plans and of skilled treatment in keeping with current practices and their application in the field of physical therapy2. Ability to read speak write understand and follow English verbal and written instruction3. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work4. The compensation for this role listed on this posting is in compliance with applicable law. The selected candidates compensation will be determined based on the individuals skills experience internal/market equity factors and qualifications. This posted minimum and maximum range represents the minimum and maximum of what we reasonably expect to compensate for the position. Furthermore all compensation decisions are ultimately determined in accordance with our compensation philosophy. Compensation for positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by the agreements in the aforementioned document.
