Job Description

Pay range:
$27.74 $44.46FullTime / Day Shift
40 hours per week
Monday Friday
Overlake Medical Clinics has an exciting fulltime opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our busy Cardiology Clinic.
Job responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for the healthcare practitioner obtaining vital signs preparing patients for routine and specialty procedures providing inbasket support and documenting patient interactions via electronic medical record.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
- Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) or Interim MAC through WA State DOH required(the latter must obtain regular MAC within 6months of hire).
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Experience with EMR applications EPIC preferred.
Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Graduate of a licensed practical nurse program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through WA State DOH required.
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Experience with EMR applications EPIC preferred.
- One year of clinic experience preferred.

How much will this job pay
Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidates years of relevant experience and internal equity.
