Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead our financial operations and drive strategic financial decisionmaking. This role will oversee all accounting functions financial reporting and compliance while optimizing cost controls specific to manufacturing and energyefficient technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial manufacturing cost accounting and financial leadership with experience in ERP systems and multisite financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and international tax regulations.
- Lead annual audits and collaborate with external auditors.
- Maintain financial transparency and regulatory compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
Accounting & Internal Controls:
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable payroll and general ledger.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Implement best practices in financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare biannual balance sheet reviews.
- Drive ERP implementation configuration and maintenance
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team fostering a highperformance culture.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with leadership in operations sales and engineering.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Certifications: CPA or CMA highly preferred.
Experience:
- 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Expertise in public accounting
- Experience in manufacturing industrial equipment or energy technology industries required.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP Oracle or similar).
- Experience managing multisite financial operations preferred.
