Spanish Teaching Position
Brewster Academy an independent coeducational boarding and day school located in
Wolfeboro NH is seeking a Spanish teacher for theacademic year. The
primary responsibility includes teaching four sections of Spanish courses at various
grade levels. In addition to classroom teaching candidates will be expected to serve as
an advisor to a group of 68 students coach an afternoon sport lead or support other
cocurricular activities and live in a dorm or serve as a dorm affiliate.

912 and PG. It sets the standard for secondary education with a teambased student
centered approach to teaching and an emphasis on its mission to prepare diverse

Qualifications
Qualified candidates possess at least a bachelors degree in the subject area and
experience designing and implementing differentiated instruction. Candidates should
also have strong interpersonal skills a keen understanding of the developmental needs
of high school students and enthusiasm for working in a culturally and linguistically
diverse boarding school environment. Preferred qualifications for this particular position
include familiarity with the Comprehensible Input (CI) approach to teaching and
assessing students linguistic proficiency.
