Job Description
Estimator Manchester Market Rate
We are working witha leading highend interior glazing contractor to source an Estimator to join their very experienced team.
Our client is known nationally and has worked on some very exciting projects over the years which will open excellent exposure to the successful Estimator chosen for this role.
Tender values range up to multimillion pounds and include commercial and workplace fit out.
Estimator Responsibilities:
- Managing 3 tenders at any one time
- Performing take offs from specifications architectural drawings
- Liaise with bid and design teams
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Build relationships with main contractors and clients
Estimator Key Skills:
- Architectural and structural background in glass and metalwork
- Key knowledge of materials and understanding of metal and glass grades
- Ability to manage multiple tenders at one time
- Confident personality and good presentation skills
