Yellowstone Clubs Food & Beverage department is currently seeking candidates for a Bar Back.
As a Barback you will support bartenders in delivering outstanding service by maintaining stock cleanliness and efficiency. Your role is crucial in creating a positive experience for both staff and patrons.
- Restock & Inventory: Ensure the bar is fully stocked with liquor mixers ice glassware and garnishes. Monitor inventory levels and alert managers to shortages.
- Cleanliness: Wash glassware sanitize surfaces empty trash and adhere to health regulations.
- Bartender Support: Prepare garnishes (e.g. citrus slices) refill ice and assist with drink delivery during peak hours.
- Setup/Breakdown: Arrange bar equipment before service and clean thoroughly postshift.
- Customer Interaction: Occasionally deliver drinks check IDs and maintain a friendly demeanor.
- Compliance: Follow all safety sanitation and alcohol service policies.
- Physical stamina to stand lift up to 50 lbs and work nights/weekends/holidays.
- Prior hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong teamwork communication and multitasking skills.
- Must meet local age requirements for alcohol handling (e.g. 18 or 21.
- Positive attitude and reliability.
The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky Montana.
