Job Description

Denver Industrial Pumps a SunSource company is a fullservice distributor of pumps and related equipment. Our central location is headquartered in Golden Colorado and our Pump and Process Solutions division is located in Casper Wyoming. We carry an average inventory of 300 pumps that include: centrifugal drum submersible air diaphragm rotary vane and magnetic drive types. We also offer fullservice repair for pump assemblies base mounting alignment impeller trims and balancing performance and hydrostatic testing. The primary markets we serve are: oil field/refining industrial municipal pharmaceutical mining power generation commercial food & beverage OEM and government.

We are seeking a dynamic and selfmotivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess entrepreneurial skills be capable of multitasking and have a strong sense of urgency. This role requires solid communication skills both verbal and written and a high level of integrity.
This role will cover a sales territory consisting of Utah and Wyoming

Essential Functions

    • Sense of Urgency:Act promptly and efficiently to meet deadlines and customer needs.

    • Integrity:Maintain honesty and high ethical standards in all dealings.
    • Market Research:Conduct thorough market research to evaluate and understand the market geography identify new customers and grow the business.
    • Project Management:Plan execute and oversee projects to ensure successful completion.
    • Willingness to Learn:Participate in training and embrace new learning opportunities.
    • Technology:Embrace and utilize new technology to enhance sales processes.
    • Customer Understanding:Listen actively and ask questions to understand customer needs.
    • Computer Literacy:Be proficient in using computers and relevant software.

Experience Education and Skills

    • HS Diploma or GED
    • Bachelors degree in business marketing or related field is preferred
    • 2 years industrial sales experience
    • Previous sales experience in fluid process / fluid control products is preferred
    • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
    • Valid drivers license
    • Overnight travel may be required at times
