Job Description
We are currently seeking interns for our Community School Program!
Your Role at SARRC
The Community School offered by Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center offers highquality early childhood education for children with and without autism all in a blended classroom environment.Interns assist with children ages 15 months to 5 years in a preschool setting where they will learn about Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) specifically Pivotal Response Treatment!
This internship is ideal for current or recent college graduates.
- Must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Strong verbal and written communication time management organizational and problemsolving skills

Minimum of 10 hours per week; participation in afternoon group supervision meetings every Friday.
Established in 1997 by two mothers of children with autism and their developmental pediatrician SARRC is an internationally recognized nonprofit with a mission to advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families. As the state of Arizonas largest nonprofit serving the autism community SARRC conducts innovative research provides evidencebased practices disseminates effective training and builds inclusive communities.
