Job Description

INTERNSHIP CHILDRENS SERVICES

We are currently seeking interns for our Community School Program!

Your Role at SARRC

The Community School offered by Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center offers highquality early childhood education for children with and without autism all in a blended classroom environment.Interns assist with children ages 15 months to 5 years in a preschool setting where they will learn about Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) specifically Pivotal Response Treatment!

This internship is ideal for current or recent college graduates.

Internship Requirements
  • Must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication time management organizational and problemsolving skills

Location

SARRC offers placement at any of our three 3 Community School Program locations placement is dependent upon program need.

Salary
Unpaid

Hours
Minimum of 10 hours per week; participation in afternoon group supervision meetings every Friday.
Interns are required to commit for the academic semester and/or school year.

As the state of Arizonas largest nonprofit serving the autism community SARRC conducts innovative research provides evidencebased practices disseminates effective training and builds inclusive communities.
