Job Description
RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled and detailoriented Granite Cutter to join our clients team in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to showcase their craftsmanship and precision in working with granite and other stone materials. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately cut and shape granite and other stone materials according to specifications.
- Operate and maintain cutting equipment including saws grinders and polishers.
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and project requirements.
- Ensure precision in measurements and cutting to achieve the desired finish.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Granite Cutter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating cutting and polishing tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials when required.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
