Job Description

Travel Required throughout Ohio Onsite required while not travelling 1970 West Broad St Columbus OH 43223

IT BSA1 will join the eWarrants application team and be primary responsible for the functional data conversion effort for each criminal justice agency. DPS technical personnel will export the data from stateowned systems and provide to the IT BSA1 to use in comparison to the data owned and maintained by the local law enforcement entities. The IT BSA1 will then work directly with DPS staff and law enforcement or court personnel across the state to research and resolve data issues. Any actual changes that need to be made to the data will be done by authorized personnel only. The cleaned data will then be imported into eWarrants during go live. This is a repeatable process for each individual court and law enforcement entity in an Ohio county.

As a secondary responsibility the IT BSA1 will become an eWarrants SME and assist existing team members in developing business process flows that support a court or law enforcement entitys unique way of doing business; participate in the rollout of eWarrants including overseeing the entire data conversion effort and data readiness upon go live.
Finally the position does require about 20 travel throughout the State of Ohio in a DPS owned vehicle. The IT BSA1 must have some flexibility with advanced notice to travel by car to various locations. This could entail working beyond a standard eighthour day (all time including travel time is chargeable; gas in the DPS owned vehicle to be paid for by the State; per diems are not offered

During the interview process with the ODPS staff the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resources experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offerors proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to prescreen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS.

1. Highly skilled in the use of Excel for data manipulation using but not limited to the following Excel features:
a. Import of data through Power Queries
b. The development and use of pivot tables
c. Data manipulation through features such as TRIM Dynamic Arrays and XLookup
d. Use of power pivots
e. Removal of duplicates by using Excel Remove Duplicates feature
f. Use of conditional statements

2. Strong communication/ leadership skills.

3. Strong influence collaboration and negotiation experience.

4. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.

5. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.

6. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.

7. Have the ability to facilitate a session with nontechnical stakeholders and facilitate requirements gathering sessions without the onsite of a project manager or technical expert.

8. Have a strong and demonstrable understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology practices and experience in facilitating scrum ceremonies

9. Have a strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.

10. Have excellent organizational skills proven analytical planning problem solving and decisionmaking skills.

11. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.

2 Projects Documented experience using Project Management software to develop & maintain a (WBS) Work Breakdown Structure (Required)
2 Software or Implementations Experience as a Technical BA from Project initiation through completion (Required)
Valid Drivers License issued by any US State DL must stay valid throughout length of employment (Required)
Needs to show at least 1 one expiring with a Large Organization as ODPS (Required)
Prior experience in working with Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement entities (Desired)
Knowledge of Agile Methodology and/or scrum practices (Desired)
Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Jira or any other collaboration tool (Desired)
