The Department of Business Accounting and Sport Management in the School of Business Management & Technology is seeking applicants with a terminal degree in the areas of finance. Pending experience the position is a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor Finance. Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities will be to teach seated hybrid and online undergraduate level courses in a variety of finance areas including Principles of Finance Personal Finance Accounting courses and Corp Finance. Expected to engage in scholarly research and service. The desired candidate must demonstrate interest in areas of grant writing community service research and partnering with financed related organizations. Must be actively involved with professional organizations and will have the responsibility to advise student within the business admin and accounting majors; serve on departmental and University committees and assist with recruitment and retention across the department community and business partners. New finance concentration is planned. Saint Augustines University SAU drawing on its rich legacy as an access institution is a studentfocused comprehensive educational institution that produces outstanding graduates prepared for personal and professional success. SAU was established in 1867 in Raleigh NC by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. A fouryear liberal arts university with an average enrollment of approximately 1000 SAU sits on 105 lush acres just north of Downtown Raleigh NC. The institution offers more than 20 undergraduate degrees and a Master of Public Administration MPA Program and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges SACSCOC . Additional Information: Employment is contingent upon a positive background check and proof of COVID 19 vaccination. Documentation of medical and religious exemptions will be accommodated.
