Node Urban Lab is an interdisciplinary team of architects designers and urban experts who collaborate to create unique and innovative designs. They believe in converting constraints to opportunities and envision flexible solutions for future changes generating longterm value for clients and communities.
We are in search of Urban Designers to join our dynamic team at Node Urban Lab in Lucknow. The Urban Designer will be responsible for contributing to the conceptualization and development of urban design projects integrating architectural landscape and planning elements to create vibrant and sustainable urban environments. This role requires creativity a passion for urban design and a commitment to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the quality of life in urban areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Collaborate with senior urban designers architects landscape architects and planners in the development of urban design concepts and strategies.
2.Assist in conducting research analysis and site assessments to inform urban design proposals and recommendations.
3.Contribute to the creation of urban design guidelines master plans and development frameworks for various projects.
4.Produce graphic presentations visualizations and renderings to communicate design ideas effectively to clients stakeholders and the public.
5.Participate in design charrettes workshops and community engagement activities to solicit input and feedback on urban design proposals.
6.Support project management activities including scheduling budgeting and coordination with consultants and stakeholders.
7.Stay updated on current trends best practices and innovations in urban design architecture and planning.
8.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of urban design principles into larger development projects.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelors or Masters degree in Urban Design Architecture Urban Planning or related field.
2.0 to 2 years of experience in urban design architecture planning or a related field.
3.Strong design skills and proficiency in graphic software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite SketchUp and AutoCAD.
4.Knowledge of urban design principles theories and methodologies.
5.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively.
6.Understanding of zoning regulations land use policies and urban development standards.
7.Passion for sustainability placemaking and creating inclusive urban spaces.
8.Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
