Summary:
The Store Facilities & Maintenance Specialist oversees the regional maintenance of JD Finish Line and Finish Line Macys North America stores. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Lines core values of Customer People Winning Community and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties:
Accountable for the daytoday delivery of maintenance and facilities management activities at sites within the region.
Prioritize service requests and handle emergency/escalated calls as needed to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships as well as collaborate effectively with Retail Operations teams.
Assist in evaluating the performance of facilities and maintenance vendors providing feedback for improvement as necessary.
Coordinate store utilities including setups and shutdowns for store openings and closings.
Conduct instore audits for safety and maintenance issues ensuring compliance with standards.
Perform warranty walks and reviews as required to address any issues promptly.
Participate in the maintenance teams oncall rotation responding to critical alarms during business hours and scheduled oncall shifts.
Support the development and improvement of written maintenance and operation procedures.
Collaborate with construction implementation teams to ensure maintenance programs and services are set up and executed correctly.
Assist Facilities Managers in tracking work orders followups and communication with vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Write organize and communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
Take on additional duties and projects as required to support the goals of the Facilities Management team.
Required Education and/or Experience:
We are seeking an individual with one to two years of customer service experience with a general interest in Store Construction & Design. High school diploma or GED equivalent; 1 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Internal JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills:
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of material handling equipment including ability to understand mechanical/electronic controls and wiring diagrams. Able to read construction documents and CAD drawings. Possesses some working knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical sewer roofing commercial construction fire and safety equipment. Exposure or knowledge of Service Channel is a plus.

Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with the companys policies are required for the position.
Average work week is 40 50 hours which can vary depending on business need.
Individual must be available to respond to urgent and/or unpredictable business needs as they arise including during evenings and some weekends. Accordingly flexibility and responsiveness including during nontraditional business hours is expected and required. Although not guaranteed weekend demands are likely to arise at least one weekend per month.
Work Environment:
The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy office setting with very limited exposure to a moderate to loud warehouse setting.
