The College of Arts and Sciences (CASE) occasionally has openings for parttime adjunct instructors appointed on a per semester basis. Applying for a parttime teaching appointment in Counseling adds applicants to a pool which is available to the department for selection as needed for Fall 2024 Spring 2025 and/or Summer 2025.
Minimum educational requirements for undergraduate level courses:
Masters degree in the teaching discipline or related field including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline. Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution.
Minimum educational requirements for graduate level courses:
Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or closely related field including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline. Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution.
Duties: Required to teach Counseling course(s) in one or more of the following modalities: Facetoface webenhanced hybrid or online. Courses may be conducted as 8week term or 16week term. Must coordinate course administrative duties such as but not limited to grading student work loading all course content such as assessments and lecture modules meeting with students submitting grades in a timely manner meeting census and grade deadlines and additional administrative duties as needed.
Compensation: $3 100 per graduate level section taught with a masters degree; $3 600 per graduate level section taught with a Ph.D.
