Job Summary

The PMS Sales Estimator will work in close collaboration with the wider sales teams to prepare and manage the sales estimation process from receipt of enquiry through to order generation. The role will involve direct engagement with the client to ensure all aspects of the solution are captured correctly within the commercial offer. A key part of the role will be to support the sales team at handover process and engage with Project Management Supply Chain Production and PMS Engineering teams.

What a typical day looks like:

  • You will estimate all types of Power Management systems and MCMS offers including those that form part of wider packages with LV Modular Databar and IBAR;
  • Prepare PMS Technical Submittals;
  • Manage enquiries and meeting deadlines;
  • Liaise with clients over the phone to prequalify requirements;
  • Buildi & maintain effective working relationships with clients colleagues and any other associated third parties;
  • Promote all Anord Mardix products/services expanding of our customer base including improving the design of our products services and client liaison as required;
  • Assist with sales administrative tasks as required;
  • Support for PMS Engineering and Project Management teams to provide detailed handover from enquiry to project;
  • Work with the PMS Engineering team to build and maintain offer specific knowledge and to ensure that project deliverables are aligned with original quotations;
  • Support wider Sales teams to identify the optimum metering and other Power Management equipment where integrated within their proposals ;
  • Assist other Anord Mardix departments so they can efficiently manage Projects to maximize the profits of the company;
  • Carry out routine followups with clients;
  • Work with external sales team members to secure new orders and win new customers.

The experience were looking to add to our team:

  • Excellent customer service skills with high levels of numeracy and literacy skills;
  • Proficiency in the daytoday use of Microsoft based operating systems and the Office suite (Outlook / Word / Excel);
  • Sector specific experience will be considered beneficial however any requisite training will be provided;
  • Good forward planners and are often required to make decisions/valuations in relation to budget costs from limited information ;
  • Time management to meet requested deadlines;
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team;
  • Eligible to work in the UK
