Grindstone Charleys is an American restaurant bar serving scratch made quality food and drinks. Established in 1982 this is good home cooking with recipes that have been passed down through generations. We promise flavorful food spirited drinks and a good seat at the table.
Who you are:As a Dishwasher you have a strong passion for food technique and an eagerness to learn more which comes with the opportunity to build on your skills and grow as a leader in the kitchen. The ideal candidate is friendly curious and devoted to becoming an integral member of a team that values hard work and attention to every detail.
What we need from you
- A sense of urgency and strong work ethic to address any facility or stewarding needs that may arise
- A general understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards and the ability to conform to DOH requirements to run an Alevel kitchen
- A familiarity withbackof house operations in and restaurant service environments.
- Strong communication and listening skills to develop trusting relationships with peers and guests
- The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
- Open availability
- The ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours and be able to lift 25 lbs. and move or lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
