Are you looking for a UNIQUE summer position that is both challenging and rewarding

- Fulltime hours Monday to Friday from 8:30am4:30pm with overtime availability

About the Company:
Uniques 50 years of engineering and manufacturing industry leading appliances Unique has modernized the offgrid kitchen with our line of truly Unique battery ignition propane & solar DC appliances. In addition an extensive lineup of stylish convection gas ranges and matched pair retro appliances in a variety of sizes and colours to choose from.
We are currently looking to bring on a Summer Student to help keep things moving in the warehouse during the busy summer season. This position will start in early May 2025 and end on August 29 2025.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing support for the offloading of containers and inspecting incoming units and parts for quality
- Performing minor product assembly and serialization of products
- Strapping and securing units and parts onto skids for safe storage and transportation
- Labelling packaging for parts with correct shipping information
- Reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as required such as cleaning organizing tools and maintaining storage areas
- Enrolment in a postsecondary institution with return to postsecondary school in September 2025 is required
- Experience in a warehouse environment is required with the ability to manage inventory levels in a constantly changing environment
- Experience in the use of hand tools is required for testing and assembly functions
- Utmost attention to detail for quality checking and testing
- Physical ability to endure heavy lifting in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced dynamic environment
- A highenergy individual who is detailoriented accurate and organized
