Hire Resolves client a wellestablished construction company is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative products components or systems by creating technical drawings conducting analyses and ensuring designs meet industry standards. They collaborate with crossfunctional teams optimize materials and costs and oversee testing to ensure quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative products components or systems based on project requirements.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks or CATIA) to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards safety regulations and client specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing for new designs.
- Perform engineering calculations simulations and stress analysis.
- Identify potential design flaws and recommend modifications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide design improvements.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including manufacturing quality and RandD departments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications reports and manuals.
- Present design concepts and updates to stakeholders and clients.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on project requirements.
- Optimize designs for costeffectiveness and production efficiency.
- Conduct cost analysis and budget planning for design projects.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate designs.
- Analyze test results and implement necessary design improvements.
- Ensure products meet quality reliability and performance standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends engineering technologies and best practices
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role preferably in Construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA or similar).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles materials and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
