What Youll Do
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems apparatus and components using test equipment hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root cause
- Perform equipment inspections preventative maintenance equipment repairs and troubleshooting equipment problems in an accurate and efficient manner
- Repair maintenance items identified during inspections
- Typical repairs include but are not limited to routine maintenance and repairing components hydraulic cylinders hydraulic systems mechanical systems cooling systems gearboxes and various types of rotating assemblies
- Read interpret and utilize manuals drawings and schematics
- Ability to operate fork lift and overhead crane required
- Ensure area is maintained to be clean and maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
- Ability to adhere to CMC safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a safety conscious industrial environment including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Identify and correct safety hazards and practices and procedures
- Provide support to the Respooler operations team during lunch breaks shift changes or when the team is shortstaffed.
- Assist with the operation of the Respooler as needed to maintain production flow and minimize downtime.
- Utilize the SAP Maintenance Module to document maintenance activities record corrective actions order replacement parts and account for time spent on tasks.
- Monitor equipment performance trends analyze maintenance data and provide detailed reports to management regarding mechanical issues and resolutions.
What Youll Need
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable working in a multidiscipline environment
- Technical skills: in depth understanding of machinery and maintenance techniques ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems apparatus and components using test equipment hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root cause
- Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and effectively.
- Experience with welding cutting fabrication and equipment maintenance preferred
- Ability to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills by performing multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritizing work assignments
- Use SAP maintenance module in the of duties utilize computers to acquire information documentation account for time and corrective actions
Your Education
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent experience is required
