Electrician Licensed
The University of Miami UHealth/SoL Mia opening June 2025 will bring highquality academic medicine to North Miami Aventura and surrounding communities.
Our expert team of physicians and staff will represent a wide range of specialties including NCIdesignated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute the numberone eye hospital in the nation. UHealth at SoL Mia will also deliver the latest in urologic treatments from the renowned Desai Sethi Urology Institute as well as topnotch care from UHealths nationally ranked neurology and neurosurgery programs.

Core Summary
The Electrician Licensed performs building maintenance and repair work and responds to the corrective needs of electrical equipment and system components.
Core Responsibilities
Tests emergency generators and conditioning and heating systems. Maintains and repairs circulator and sump pumps refrigeration units fans and other electrical equipment.
Installs lighting fixtures and other electrical apparatus.
Tests circuits for continuity and overloading.
Conducts fire alarm tests and participates in the movement and installation of machinery and equipment.
Evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters ohmmeters pyrometers and pressure gauges.
Works from ladders scaffolds and roofs to install maintain or repair electrical wiring and equipment.
Maintains records prepares reports and orders supplies and equipment.
Adheres to University and unitlevel policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Core Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification in relevant specialty or field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:

Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Any relevant education certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
