Job Description
Join a respected healthcare facility as an Emergency Medicine Physician in the scenic Lake Okeechobee region. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a 16000 annual patient volume facility
- Lead emergency department operations during 12hour shifts
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers for optimal patient care
- Perform emergency procedures and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using Epower Doc EMR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise and coordinate with nursing and support staff
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Current ATLS ACLS BLS and PALS certifications
- Florida Medical License or eligibility
- Strong clinical decisionmaking abilities
- Excellence in team collaboration and communication
