DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Own and lead all financial planning & forecasting for the organization globally.
- Lead a team of Segment Controllers globally that will report to this role.
- Lead and drive the forecasting process globally for the organization across all segments.
- Responsible for owning and leading the 5 Year Planning process globally for the organization.
- Drive the Annual Operating Plan process globally for the organization.
- Guide lead and oversee the Companys revenue forecasting and planning activities including weekly forecasting monthly forecasts AOP and 5year operating plan.
- Coordinate with each Segment Controller on the consolidated rollup for the total global company for:
- Each forecast cycle (currently M1 and M3
- Ad hoc forecasts
- Weekly Business Update meetings (currently Revenue & GM)
- Annual Operating Plan
- 5 yr Plans
- Preliminary Actuals on a quarterly basis (Bridges for Actuals vs Forecast; Actuals vs AOP; Actuals vs prior quarter and the year ago quarter Bridges currently used are GM & OPEX)
- Lead business update meetings
- Ensure proper qualitative information provided along with quantitative analysis and articulate what the story is behind the numbers.
- Drive companywide initiatives down to each Segment Controller (Examples such as cost reduction initiatives pricing initiatives yield improvement initiatives OPEX reductions CAPEX reductions etc.
- Optimize the Forecast process both from a timing perspective as well as from a quality of analysis perspective
- Drive consistency of processes throughout each Segment and the total company (Examples such as forecast process and assumptions quarter fringe definitions of what hits R&D vs what hits COGS treatment of absorption etc.
- Partner with the Chief Accounting Officer to ensure proper accounting and treatment across all segments.
- Partner with the Head of Internal Audit to support global projects.
- Drive the strategy to maximize opportunities to move headcount to lowcost regions where appropriate.
- Track Capex investments & R&D Investments that have been approved by the CFO outside of the AOP process.
- Support the new ERP system implementation.
- Lead and support the new EPM forecasting & consolidations tool.
Education & Experience
- BS MBA in accounting economics or finance.
- CPA/CMA highly preferred.
- 20 years operations finance accounting or financial analysis experience
- Minimum 15 years leading staff.

- Strong process orientation with the ability to drive efficiencies in areas such as forecasting and streamline other key financial processes.
- Strategic planning and decisionmaking skills to contribute to the organizations longterm success.
- Experience working at a multibillion dollar publicly traded company and exposure to complex accounting issues.
- Extensive experience with leading consolidated global close processes.
- Experience with consolidated global forecasting processes.
- Excellent leadership skills including ability to guide and inspire finance teams.
- Excellent communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with the Csuite as well as convey complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills for communicating financial strategies and results to executive leadership and board members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the business environment and evolving financial landscapes as well as the flexibility to embrace and drive change within the financial reporting function.
- Familiarity with financial systems and technologies with the ability to leverage financial technology tools for improved efficiency and reporting.
- Ability to excel in a crossorganizational crosscultural global team environment.
- Sets a high standard of ethics professionalism leadership and competency.

- Experience with investment model construction including recommendation.
- Mergers and Acquisitions including merger integration for sustained nondependent performance (nondependent on the integration team).
