The DAG (Directors Action Group) Support Specialist provides essential administrative operational and task management support. This role ensures the efficient handling of TMT (Task Management Tool) taskers communications scheduling and logistical coordination contributing to the missions overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
TMT Tasker Management:
Manage track and process taskers assigned through the TMT system.
Ensure timely tasker submissions and responses maintaining compliance with deadlines and requirements.
Coordinate task assignments across departments monitor progress and provide status updates to leadership.
Operational Support:
Assist with the daytoday operations of the DAG office ensuring smooth workflow and alignment with priorities.
Communication and Correspondence:
Draft review and distribute official correspondence ensuring adherence to Air Force protocols.
Act as a liaison between leadership internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
Scheduling and Logistics:
Coordinate meetings conferences and engagements including managing calendars and travel itineraries.
Provide logistical support for events ceremonies and VIP visits.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records and documentation for TMT taskers DAG activities and official reports.
Prepare and present reports summaries and briefings for leadership review.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure all activities comply with relevant Air Force policies regulations and security protocols.
Handle classified and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Communications or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Previous experience managing TMT taskers or similar task management systems.
10 years plus experience in DoD
Background in administrative or operational support preferably in a military or government setting.
Familiarity with Air Force or DoD operations and protocols is highly desirable.
Skills:
Expertise in TMT or equivalent task management software.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Excellent communication both written and verbal.
Current TS/SCI with SAP Eligibility
Working Conditions:
Onsite at LA AFB with occasional travel.
