Drilling Cost Analyst (m/f/d) Germany

We are looking for a Drilling Cost Analyst (m/f/d) to join our Eavor GmbH team in Dsseldorf.

In this role you will provide overall cost engineering support to drilling engineering and operations teams. This position is responsible for cost tracking cost reporting reconciliation and coordinating drilling budgets.

Some of what youll do:

  • Design prepare and maintain cost books for drilling operations using drilling services contract prices
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate field cost tracking and reporting including variance analysis for projects and individual wells
  • Responsible for coordinating daily weekly monthly performance cost reporting for the drilling department
  • Interface between drilling staff and the Procurement and Finance groups to ensure complete and accurate cost tracking cost forecasting cost reconciliation and reporting
  • Coordinate input of drilling cost estimates for budgeting purposes
  • Generate well AFEs
  • Review and vet drilling supplier invoices
  • Assist in compiling reports and presentation materials for daily weekly monthly and annual reporting

Some of what youll need:

  • Five or more years practical experience in petroleum/geothermal industry in accounting or cost management and reporting
  • Bachelors degree is preferred
  • Fluency in English and German is required
  • Sound understanding of project cost concepts and reporting
  • A good understanding of drilling activities and operations is a plus
  • Sound proficiency in MS Office applications: Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
