Job Description

Honda North an International Cars Ltd. (ICL) Inc. company is looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for automobile sales to join our team! Candidates with experience in customer service retail sales or service/hospitality industries are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to create positive and lasting relationships with clients.
  • Professional wellgroomed personal appearance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients peers and managers.
  • Strong computer aptitude and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekends & evenings.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willing to submit to and pass a preemployment background check & drug screen.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking engaging questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Timely followup with clients to ensure referral business.
  • Assists the department manager to meet and ensure departmental objectives of the dealerships annual budget and achieve the departmental goals of the business plan;
  • Provides and ensures exceptional customer service in the vehicle department maintaining a personal customer satisfaction rating from the manufacturer at or above the company standard;
  • Provides insight and ideas to the department in order to maintain a sustained competitive advantage;
  • Turn over 100 percent of closed transactions to Business Manager along with properly completed paperwork (insurance information trade title etc..
  • Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
  • Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival and perform highquality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
  • Delivers vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer understands the vehicles operating features warranty and paperwork.
  • Knows and understands the federal state and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
  • Sells/leases and delivers a minimum number of units as defined in the dealership sales pay plan.
  • Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.
  • Keeps abreast of new products features accessories etc. and their benefits to customers.
  • Knows and understands equity and values and is able to explain depreciation to the customer.
  • Follows up on all postdelivery items tag/title work and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
  • Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day week month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively (CRM).
  • Assists with snow removal. Moves/arranges vehicles on lot.
  • Assure that keys and dealer plates are properly maintained to prevent loss or theft.
