Work Location: Atlanta GA
Description
- Assesses analyzes and negotiates payer contracts for all hospital and professional entities within Emory Healthcare (EHC).
- Manages information for loading and maintaining payer contracts in EHC decision support systems.
- Implements new contracts amendments and business process modifications.
- Utilizes Emory Healthcares decision support systems and other tools to perform financial analysis of hospital physician and ancillary rates and other ad hoc financial analysis.
- Serves as managed care liaison for assigned Emory Healthcare operational areas and contracted organizations.
- Manages relationships with assigned managed care organizations including monitoring contract performance compliance and maintenance.
- Resolves operational issues to maximize contract performance/revenue.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - A bachelors degree in business health administration or a related field.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Three of healthcare experience preferably in managed care.
- Knowledge of various personal computer software packages including word processing spreadsheet and/or database management applications.
