So much fun stuff happens in our classrooms every day! Everyday children are guided through exploration and learning activities they are provided with healthy meals and snacks and they are encouraged to learn through play. We are looking for a classroom leader to guide these activities and more. LCECP is seeking a caring person who is passionate about education and working with children for our Head Start Teacher position.
Position Summary:
Our Teachers serve a vital role at LCECP they are classroom leaders. They are developing lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in childrens lives. We are looking for a caring person who enjoys a fastpaced job.
The Teacher will be responsible for:
Developing and delivering lesson plans designed to help children reach their goals
Conducting observations and tracking important information accurately
Conducting Parent visits and Parent conferences
Understanding and developing individual child goals

Education Requirement:
Associates degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or related field
Experience working with children and families in early childhood education settings
Must be willing to maintain CPR certifications and attend regular trainings.
Wage: $16.89 20.00 per hour (based on experience and education level)
Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm/ Monday to Friday 40 hrs. a week / 37 weeks a year
This position is eligible for full dental and health benefits after 90 days.
