The Department
The Digital Health Division is responsible for enabling clinical staff to deliver timely quality care to our patients and carers through innovative use of information technologies and through strategic management of information and data across the organisation.
The division encompasses all aspects of:
- Information technology procurement delivery security and support.
- Electronic Medical Record design development and support including the electronic Timely Quality Care Program
- General applications support
- Data Governance and Security
The Position Summary
An excellent IT opportunity is available to join a worldrenowned public health organisation Alfred Health in Melbourne.
The purpose of this role is to maintain and support the Server and Storage ICT environment which consists of servers storage appliances terminals and security services for Alfred Health and to perform advanced troubleshooting and management.
Alfred Health is one of the world leaders in its field and is extremely dependent on its information systems to support its daily operations. The organisation is very keen to be innovative and progressive in its application of technology to support the various areas of its business particularly the patient journey.The infrastructure comprises 10000 workstations and a WAN connecting a number of hospitals remote clinics and multiple data centres with enterprise servers (physical and virtual). The applications range from clinical service delivery and administrative to commercial and business.The Digital Health Division is responsible for supporting this infrastructure and is looking for an Engineer with strong technical and management skills who is eager to develop upon their current professional knowledge base.
Skills and Qualifications Required (please see the Position Description for further details)
- 5 Years experience in a similar role
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or Microsoft/Citrix/VMware certifications would be highly regarded
- Advanced System Centre Configuration Manager SCCM administration
- Advanced knowledge of MS Intune computer and policy management and application/operating system deployment
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure
- Advanced Active Directory experience
- Experience in managing a complex ICT server storage and related environment
- Evidence of a good working knowledge of Monitoring hardware and software
