Job Description
Sand Blaster/ Painter
Painter/Blaster is responsible for the preparation of metal surfaces for painting and will also paint components equipment interiors and exteriors of vessels. Two 2 years of marine blasting and painting or four 4 year of continuous Company experience preferred.
- Read and interpret paint specifications and manufacturer application instructions.
- Well versed in spraying conventional airless or hand paint systems.
- Can apply zinc epoxy enamel or other types of surface coatings.
- Familiar with Steel Structural Painting Chemical (SSPC) preparation.
- Can troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment and read wet or dry gauges.
