Plater / Welder Supervisor Structural Steel
Are you an experienced Plater / Welder Supervisor looking for a new challenge Join a leading name in structural steel manufacturing and take the next step in your career. This is an opportunity to lead a skilled team in a professional and safetyfocused environment.
Great Opportunity
4day week: Monday Thursday 7:00am 4:45pm
Competitive pay: 19.86/hour 38211 basic per annum) Overtime up to 39.72ph

The Role
As Plater / Welder Supervisor youll be responsible for:
- Leading the team Overseeing platers and welders ensuring targets are met efficiently and safely
- Maintaining safety standards Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with all health & safety policies
- Managing operations Coordinating materials equipment and workflow to optimise production
- Training & development Supporting and mentoring team members including apprentices
- Ensuring compliance Keeping accurate records completing permits and adhering to company procedures
- Effective communication Liaising with production management to report progress and resolve any issues
What Were Looking For
- Strong plating and welding experience in a structural steel manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- High attention to detail particularly in interpreting drawings and documentation
- Clear communication skills both verbal and written
- A proactive approach meeting deadlines and demonstrating flexibility with overtime
